PROCEEDINGS OF THE TIHANY SYMPOSIUM RADIATION CHEMISTRY The list of participants in the Symposium at Tihany on radiation chemistry is sufficient evidence in itself of the scientific importance of these proceedings. Most of the eminent scientists of radiation chemistry, from all parts of the world, were represented among the participants. The discussions are given after the relevant papers. There is an Index of Contributors and a Subject Index to the volume. The subject-matter of the papers and discussions makes it possible to compare the views of the Soviet, English, French, German and other schools of radiation chemistry. A special merit of the present volume is that it presents to the English reader results and ideas hitherto not published in English. The papers and discussions presented at the Tihany Symposium will form in many respects a standard source on radiation chemistry.
