Földesi Tamás: The problem of free will - Studia philosophica Academiae Scientiarum Hungaricae 10. (Budapest, 1966)

T. FÖLDESI THE PROBLEM OF FREE WILL “Is man endowed with a free will or not?” — the author seeks a Marxist answer to the much debated question. To approach the problem in a comprehensive way, he gives its short history, dwelling on the more general problems of philosophy (e.g. the general concept of determinism) without which the question of free will cannot be solved. In the process of elaboration he deals with the moral and legal problems arising from the doctrine of determinism. AKADÉMIAI KIADÓ PUBLISHING HOUSE OF THE HUNGARIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES BUDAPEST, V.
