Questions of International Law Volume 2 Edited by György Haraszti The present volume is a collection of studies on topics of public and private international law. Contributors to the volume are the most renowned Hungarian experts in this field. The papers are independent of one another. Two of them deal with new fields of international law, namely with space law and the use of nuclear power. The volume includes a wide range of studies dealing with the succession of states, the utilization of the divided water resources with special regard to the Danube Basin, two papers on the legal aspects of economic integration, a study on the promotion of the interests of land-locked states in the new law of the sea. A paper dealing with humanitarian law, namely with the issues raised by the 1977 Protocols Additional to the Geneva Convention on the Protection of the Victims of War is also included. The topical issues of international monetary systems are dealt with. The volume contains a study on human rights and another one on Hungary’s consular agreements. Though the volume is primarily meant for jurists, it may be instructive also for experts concerned with timely political issues.
