Hedvig Péter: Dielectric spectroscopy of polymers (Budapest, 1977)

DIELECTRIC SPECTROSCOPY OF POLYMERS by P. Hedvig In this book the dielectric spectra of polymers, copolymers, polymeric compounds and blends are discussed and compared with dynamic mechanical, dilatometric and thermal analytic data. Recent analogue and digital experimental methods are discussed together with such related techniques as the nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), spin echo method, dilatometry, dynamic mechanical relaxation and differen ial thermal analysis. Separate chapters are devoted to the study of dielectric spectra during degradation and cross-linking reactions. Ample examples are given to illustrate the possibilities of using the time domain (Fourier transform) method together with the dielectric depolarization techniques. Relaxation maps of typical polymers are given in the Appendix. AKADÉMIAI KIADÓ Publishing House of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences Budapest
