PROCEEDINGS OF THE FOURTH , TIHANY SYMPOSIUM ON RADIATION CHEMISTRY The fourth of the traditional international meetings on radiation chemistry followed the success of the previous ones. New results on the radiolysis of organic materials, polymers and aqueous solutions were presented by distinguished speakers from all over the world. 141 papers were discussed in three sections. 173 participants were present from 22 countries. This volume contains the full text of the papers and discussions. Besides the basic ideas and techniques of radiation chemistry, some industrial applications formed part of the programme.
