LISSÁK The first volume of this series, published in English, contains summaries on the latest results in neurobiological research conduct­ed in different institutes of the country. The annual volumes are edited so that they may present withfin the span of a few years period an overall view of current investigations in Hungary. In the first five studies the most varied investigational fields of neuro­biology are surveyed, including neuroanatomy, neuropharmacol­ogy (psychopharmacology), neuro­­chemistry and neurophysiology. From time to time the series will include concise statements received from foreign institutes, pointing out the results of scientific cooperation between Hungarian and foreign institutes of the corresponding fields.
